Mrs. Elzinga introduced persuasive writing to her class by having them write a paper about eating more bugs - they learn about the benefits of eating insects. So of course they have to sample some. They had crickets, grasshoppers, and mealworms. The crickets were mostly deemed ok, but the mealworms not so much!
