The students in Miss Aaliyah's class became “chefs” as they practiced sequencing events from Muhammad’s life. Each pizza topping represented an important event from the CKLA chapter. Students had to read the chapter carefully, identify each event, and determine which topping belonged first, next, and so on. As they found the events, they built their pizza in the correct order. Through this activity, students learned how to identify and sequence important events in a historical text and use details from the chapter to support their thinking.
