Meet Miss Calloway! She will be joining our 4th grade team this year. Hi, y'all! My name is Miss. Aaliyah! I’m from a small town in Kentucky. I moved to Utah two years ago and have completely fallen in love with the mountains. They're just darling! Outside of the classroom, you can usually find me up in the mountains, shopping for a great deal on a new outfit, journaling, working on some crafts, or spending time with my family and friends. I'm so excited to be part of the Mt. Loafer community this year, and I can't wait to meet my fourth graders and their families. Meet Miss Adrian! She will be joining our 2nd grade team this year. Hello everyone! My name is Natalie Adrian, and I am so excited to be joining the second grade team at Mt. Loafer this year! I can't wait to get to know my students and create a fun, welcoming classroom where everyone feels supported and encouraged. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, rollerblading, watching TV shows, and spending time with my family and friends. I come from a family of nine and have an identical twin sister, which has helped me build a love for creating meaningful relationships. Remember, if families had a free or reduced eligibility last school year, they still need to apply.  The eligibility does not carry over from year to year.

Kindergarten graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, at 6:00 p.m. Each student should wear their kindergarten t-shirt for the program. Parents will drop off their kindergarten student in their classroom between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. **Miss Pemberton's class will meet in the front hallway by the office. After dropping off your child, parents may make their way to the gym to be seated for the graduation ceremony. We are excited to celebrate our amazing kindergarten students and all of their growth this year!

She cares deeply about each student that she interacts with. Mrs. Root not only helps the students at Mt. Loafer, but also supports teachers in providing excellent reading instruction to all students. We are so lucky to have her at Mt. Loafer!💕🐻

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and that means Mt. Loafer Candy Grams- our annual fifth grade service project.  This year we will be donating all of our funds to the Mervyn Sharp Bennion Central Utah Home in Payson. We will be selling them Monday, February 9th through Thursday the 12th. A candy gram is a paper Valentine stamped with a candy kiss. They will be sold before school and during lunch recess. They will cost $0.25 each. We will accept CASH or CHECKS.

Our kindergarten class is officially 100 days smarter! 🎉🧠 They’ve had 100 days of learning, laughing, counting, creating, and growing together—and we’re so proud of how far our students have come. What a fun milestone to celebrate all their hard work and big progress! 📚✨

We have been learning about the Renaissance in 5th Grade. We learned that It took Michael Angelo four years to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, so we wanted to experience an hour of painting on our backs. It was NOT easy!
