As part of Utah's statewide read-a-thon , we were lucky to welcome Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson, our very own Superintendent Rick Nielsen, and Principal Valerio to Mrs. Hunter's classroom. It's not every day students get to share story time with the state and local leaders. The classrooms were filled with quiet kids settled in with picture books, chapter books, and even their own teacher reading their favorite book to the class. Days like these are a good reminder that reading isn't something we just practice at school; it's something we get to enjoy. Thank you to our guests for taking time out of their busy schedules to celebrate reading with us.
